Hayden Killinger has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Hayden started their career in 2012 as a Sound Engineer at Keith Atack Music Studios, where they were responsible for audio production for a weekly podcast and sound design for TV and film projects. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer at Assault and Battery Studios, handling project setup, audio editing, and maintaining client relationships.
In 2015, they gained experience as an Audio Systems Engineer during an undergraduate placement at Jaguar Land Rover, where they contributed to the design and testing of in-car audio systems and led cross-departmental projects. The following year, they joined The Stables Theatre Ltd as a Live Sound Engineer, managing technical teams, live recordings, and post-production for shows and promotional content.
From 2017 to 2017, Hayden worked as an Audio Producer Intern at Somethin' Else, gaining experience in audio production. Hayden then joined Mighty Social in 2018 as a Lead Developer, implementing real-time data-driven applications for external clients and revamping the internal development process.
In 2019, Hayden joined Push Gaming as a Game Developer/Audio Programmer, overseeing the development of projects from concept to release and collaborating with various teams. Hayden was later promoted to Senior Game Developer/Audio Programmer, where they worked on developing a new sound manager and audio game framework while also managing the development team and improving development tools and processes.
In 2023, Hayden joined Audiomob as a Senior Developer Relations, where they are currently responsible for developer relations and support.
Hayden Killinger received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering with Music Technology from the University of York. Hayden attended the university from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, Hayden attended Harlington Upper School Sixth Form College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained A Levels in Maths, Physics, Media, and Psychology. Before their time at the sixth form college, they attended Harlington Upper School from 2007 to 2010, during which they completed their GCSEs in subjects such as Maths, Science, English, Business, Design, ICT, Drama, Religious Studies, and PE.
Apart from their formal education, Hayden also obtained additional certifications. In December 2011, they received the EDI Level 2 Certificate in Technical Theatre Support Sound Pathway. In June 2011, they achieved a Music Theory Grade 5 qualification. Additionally, in April 2011, they obtained the EDI Level 2 Award in Principles of the Creative and Cultural Sector (Sound).
