Nosiviwe Tsotso is an experienced audit professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade in various auditing and financial roles. Currently serving as an Audit Manager at Audit New Zealand since February 2020, Nosiviwe leads audit teams, ensuring compliance with professional standards while mentoring less experienced staff. Previous positions include Chief Financial Officer at Port Elizabeth TVET College and Audit Supervisor at Mazars and the Auditor General of South Africa, where responsibilities included managing audit processes, staff performance, and client relations. Nosiviwe holds several academic qualifications in accounting and finance, including a Bachelor's Degree from NMMU and certified honors from the University of South Africa.

As well as auditing financial matters, we evaluate publicly funded organisations in areas of sensitive expenditure, effectiveness and efficiency, waste, and a probity or financial prudence. Audit New Zealand is one of two business units serving the Controller and Auditor-General.
