Leigh Johnston

Leigh Johnston is a seasoned professional in performance audit and research, currently serving as Senior Manager in Performance Audit and Best Value at Audit Scotland since July 2017. Prior to this role, Leigh worked at the Social Care Institute for Excellence as Head of Analytical Support and Senior Research Analyst Improvement from January 2016 to July 2017. Leigh's earlier experience at OPM, spanning nearly 15 years, includes positions as Head of Research, Research Manager, Research Consultant, and Researcher, demonstrating a strong background in managing mixed-method research projects across public services. Leigh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology and Sociology from the University of Surrey.
