Chris Bolton

Chris Bolton has extensive experience in research, development, and governance, currently holding roles at Audit Wales as a Good Practice Manager and Performance Audit Manager since January 2001. Chris serves as Board Chair at Merthyr Valleys Homes, the largest social housing cooperative in Wales, since September 2021 and has been a board member since 2019. In addition, Chris has been a Churchill Fellow since 2018, focusing on governance in cooperatives, and is involved with ideasUK’s Advisory Board to promote employee engagement and innovation. Chris previously contributed to the Welsh Government as an Academi Facilitator and has a background in corporate planning from the Environment Agency. Chris's education includes advanced degrees in leadership, environmental management, and biology from various esteemed institutions.
