Chrisna Botha

Chrisna Botha is a seasoned professional in performance auditing with extensive experience at the Auditor General of South Africa since February 2006, currently serving as Performance Audit Manager. Responsibilities include the research, development, and updating of performance audit methodology, as well as technical support, quality assurance, and training. Chrisna has successfully executed audit projects across all nine provinces, presenting reports to Parliament and provincial legislatures. Previous roles include Business Unit Administration Manager and Specialised Audit Services Manager within the same organization. Additionally, Chrisna has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Pretoria and worked as an audit clerk and manager at Mervitz & Malan Chartered Accountants Inc. Chrisna holds a CA(SA) designation from SAICA and the University of Pretoria and completed Matric at Ermelo High School.
