Vonani Chauke

Vonani Chauke, CA(SA), currently serves as the Deputy Auditor-General at the Auditor-General of South Africa, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Vonani was a Partner/Director at Deloitte South Africa from July 2015 to June 2021 and at SizweNtsalubaGobodo, a Protiviti member firm, from January 2004 to June 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Auditing and Information Technology and a Higher Diploma in Computer Audit from the University of Cape Town, and a B.Com Honours in Accounting from the University of South Africa. Additionally, Vonani is pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) at the University of Cape Town, which has been ongoing since 1997.
