Alec Savoy

Alec Savoy has a wealth of experience in software engineering, customer service, and food preparation. Alec began their professional career in 2011 as a Lifeguard for Portland Parks & Recreation. From 2015-2016, they worked as a Technology Service Desk Analyst 2 | IS-ITC Student for the University of Oregon, a Frontend Developer for FishDuck.com LLC, and a Cart Attendant for Target. In 2017, Alec joined First Foundry as a Lead | Senior Software Engineer, where they used the Tokio suite of tools to build efficient and performant event driven systems, developed technical design comparisons between different pieces of technology, and utilized CQRS and Command / Event patterns to handle asynchronous processing. In 2023, Alec began working as a Software Engineer for Audius.

Alec Savoy attended the University of Oregon from 2014 to 2018 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Spatial Data Science and Technology. Alec also holds a certification in Lifeguard and CPR from Starguard.
