Jamie Waterhouse has a diverse background in marketing and e-commerce roles. They started their career in 1995 as a Territory Manager at SmithKline Beecham, where they managed relationships with retail pharmacies, cash and carry stores, and independent wholesalers. In 1996, they joined Pakawaste Ltd as a Marketing Executive, where they coordinated sales and marketing efforts and helped launch a new division and product range. From 1997 to 2000, Jamie served as a Senior Marketing Executive at Sika, where they were responsible for all aspects of marketing and planning for companies in the Liquid Plastics Group. In 2000, they joined Gold Medal Travel Group as a Marketing Manager, overseeing consumer brands and trade sales of holidays. In 2007, Jamie joined Shearings Holidays as an E-Commerce Manager and later took on the role of Sales and Marketing Manager. They were responsible for the development of the company's e-commerce function and managed the promotion of British and European holidays. In 2010, they joined Great Rail Journeys Ltd as a Senior E-Commerce Manager before joining Audley Travel in 2015 as the Head of Digital and SEO.

Jamie Waterhouse completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies from the University of Buckingham from 1993 to 1995. Before that, from 1992 to 1993, they pursued A-Levels in Economics and Sociology at Blackpool & The Fylde College in Lancashire. From 1979 to 1992, Jamie attended King Edward VII School in Lytham, Lancashire, where they completed A-Levels in Physics, Biology, Geography, and General Studies.
