Audrey’s House is a nonprofit organization providing safe shelter, restorative care, and holistic healing for parents and their children fleeing domestic violence and trauma. Founded in honor of Audrey LaNier, whose life embodied compassion, faith, and service, Audrey’s House exists to offer survivors more than temporary safety—we offer a pathway to rest, recovery, and renewed purpose.

Our approach is trauma-informed and family-centered, recognizing that healing must address the mind, body, and spirit. Audrey’s House combines emergency support with counseling, life-skills development, and emotional and spiritual care to help families move from crisis to stability. Services include trauma-informed counseling, wellness and self-care programming, creative and reflective practices, and access to supportive resources that promote independence and long-term resilience.

As we build toward a permanent rural sanctuary, Audrey’s House also functions as a community-centered hub—raising awareness, partnering with aligned organizations, and supporting survivors through outreach, education, and collaborative initiatives. We are committed to dignity, confidentiality, and empowerment, ensuring that survivors are met with compassion rather than judgment.

Audrey’s House also supports community leaders, practitioners, and retreat facilitators aligned with our mission by providing space for restorative gatherings, workshops, and healing-centered programming. This model allows us to sustain our work while expanding access to care.

Guided by the belief that no one should have to heal alone, Audrey’s House is dedicated to creating safe spaces where families can rest, recharge, and rebuild their lives with hope, strength, and support.
