Anthony Harris has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Anthony started their career as an IT technician at Compaq in 1993, where they diagnosed and repaired servers, trained staff on new products and procedures, and assisted with the implementation of new procedures and policies. Anthony then worked as a technical support specialist at Convergys from 1999 to 2000. In 2000, Anthony joined Avnet Technology Solutions as a Network Services Lead Technician, where they provided service agreement options for user creation/management, troubleshooting PC hardware and software, network printers, and networking and wireless multimedia devices. Anthony also produced and presented training materials and ensured timely resolution of support calls. From 2002 to 2012, Anthony worked at ePlus inc. as an IT Technician Lead, supervising the delivery of technical solutions and support and providing service agreement options for troubleshooting various IT equipment. Since 2012, they have been working at Brown Medical Center as an IT Support Specialist Lead, utilizing various support methods to deliver technical solutions and support and producing training materials. Most recently, Anthony joined Audubon Engineering in 2014 as a Service Desk Analyst Lead, where they coordinate the service desk to provide technical solutions and support for employees in the oil and gas services field. Anthony also produces and presents training materials to support new procedures.
Anthony Harris received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Technology/Technician from the University of Houston between the years 1987 and 1992. In addition to their degree, they obtained the following certifications: A+ Certified Professional IT Technician from CompTIA in January 2007, Network+ Certified Professional from CompTIA in June 2006, and HP Desktop, Workstations, and Notebook Servicing Certification from HP (exact date unknown).
