Carmen Rucker

Carmen Rucker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carmen started their career as a Voter Registration Core Team Member at Organizing for America in 2012. Carmen then worked as a Cashier, Grocery Associate, and Inventory Management Specialist at Rebecca's Natural Food from 2010 to 2012. Carmen also gained experience as a Production Assistant, Sales Associate, and Marketing Associate at Pantheon Pop Shop from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they interned at Democratic Coordinated Campaign, where they participated in phone banks and canvassing. Carmen also interned at Public Citizen in 2014, assisting with campaign promotion and website maintenance. Their most recent position was Director of Park Operations at Audubon Nature Institute, where they were responsible for designing and building a new department, managing a team, and developing informal programming for the park. Throughout their career, Carmen has demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills.

Carmen Rucker earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science with a minor in History from Loyola University New Orleans in 2014. Prior to that, they attended PVCC Workforce Services from 2010 to 2013. Carmen Rucker completed their high school education at Charlottesville High School from 2008 to 2012.
