Willard L. Dumas

First Vice Chair at AUDUBON NATURE INSTITUTE INC

Willard L. Dumas, Jr., D.D.S. received his B.S. from Xavier University of Louisiana and his D.D.S. from Howard University, Washington, D.C. After 40 years of the private practice of general dentistry, Dr. Dumas retired and has been practicing dentistry at Daughters of Charity Health Clinic. He was appointed to the Audubon Commission by four mayors from 1993-2014. He serve as Chairman of the Audubon Commission for five of those years. He has served on the Board of Directors of Covenant House, Catholic Charities and the Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He served as Chairman of the Xavier University Annual Fund. He served on the Board of Directors of Providence Community Housing.
