Richard Brooke

Richard Brooke has over thirty years' experience in the waste management and renewable energy industries. Richard is currently Commercial Director at Augean, responsible for all commercial activity relating to waste sales and contracts with local authority and commercial and industrial sector customers, brokerage and offtake arrangements including the recovery of more than 250,000 tonnes of refuse derived fuel each year to renewable energy plants in the UK and mainland Europe. Richard has also worked as Commercial Director for Tamar Energy Ltd, responsible for securing feedstock, commercial negotiations, tendering, transport/logistics, customer relations and contract management, digestate and compost offtake commercial arrangements, energy offtake commercial arrangements, residue offtake commercial arrangements, planning, and mergers & acquisitions.

Richard Brooke attended Batley Grammar School in West Yorkshire before going on to study Minerals Estate Management at Sheffield Hallam University. Richard then went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Bradford School of Management. In addition, they have also gained certification from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and from the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) as a Member of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (MCIWM).
