Gabriela Palacios

Gabriela Palacios has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as an Economist at CEMLA, where they provided training on debt management strategies and led the design of debt management and financing strategies in low-income countries in Latin America. In 2018, they worked as a Deputy Director at the Secretaría de Educación Pública, where they performed data and econometric analysis to monitor the impact of educational interventions. In 2019, they joined the Institute for the National Fund for Employee Consumption as Deputy Director, where they applied data mining techniques to determine optimal unemployment insurance premiums and led a team to design databases and produce statistics. Currently, they are working as a Data Engineer at Augintel.

Gabriela Palacios completed their undergraduate studies at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, obtaining a Licenciatura en Economía degree in Economics between 2008 and 2013. Gabriela then pursued further education at the University of Chicago from 2020 to 2022, where they earned a Master's degree in Computational Analysis and Public Policy. The field of study for their Master's degree is not provided.
