Hammond Pereira

Hammond Pereira is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Augnito since April 2023, overseeing a team of 25 engineers across various disciplines. Previously, Hammond held the position of Director of Backend Engineering at Dream11 from November 2019 to November 2022, where leadership of a 15-engineer team contributed to critical features impacting over 140 million users. Prior roles include SDE III at Dream11, Senior Backend Engineer at MX Player, and several positions at Morgan Stanley, ranging from Technology Manager to Technology Analyst, focusing on integration, trade processing, and technology re-engineering. Hammond began a career at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
