Vesna S.

Vesna S. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vesna is currently the Director of New Projects and Quality Assurance Regulatory Affairs (QARA) at Augurex Life Sciences Corp., a role they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of New Projects and QARA at the same company from August 2021 to March 2022. Vesna's earlier experience includes working as the Manager of Quality/Regulatory at Augurex Life Sciences Corp. from June 2018 to July 2021.

Before joining Augurex Life Sciences Corp., Vesna worked as the RA/QA Manager at Rostrum Medical Innovations Inc. from October 2016 to January 2018. Vesna also served as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Lungpacer Medical Inc. from December 2014 to July 2016 and as a Quality System Document Controller at Neovasc Inc. from May 2013 to December 2014.

Vesna's career began in the research field, where they worked as a Quality Assurance Technologist at Canada's Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre from October 2012 to May 2013. Prior to that, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia from September 2005 to December 2008.

Vesna also has experience in pharmaceutical industries. Vesna worked as an Analytical Development Research Associate at QLT Inc. from February 2003 to September 2006 and as a Device Technology Group Associate at the same company from January 2002 to January 2003. Earlier in their career, Vesna served as a Quality Control Analyst at Medochemie Ltd. from July 1999 to October 2001.

Vesna S. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Belgrade from 1988 to 1994. Vesna then pursued a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at The University of British Columbia from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Vesna has obtained certifications such as ISO 13485:2003 Lead Auditor (TPECS) from BSI and is a member of The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).
