Benjamin Tacheny

Benjamin Tacheny has a diverse work history in the cybersecurity industry. Benjamin is currently the DOD Sales Team Director at August Schell since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Federal Sales Manager - DOD at Proofpoint from March 2021 to March 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Benjamin was an Enterprise Named Accounts Manager - DOD at Ivanti, where they won the Ivanti Sales Professional of the Year award in 2020. Benjamin also served as a Security Sales - Team Lead - Public Sector at Ivanti from 2014 to 2016, where they managed a team and focused on IT security software sales.

Before joining Ivanti, Benjamin worked at VMware as a Cloud Management Sales Specialist - Team Lead - Channel, FSI's, and Public Sector from 2011 to 2014. Benjamin initially joined the company through the acquisition of Shavlik Technologies in 2011, where they were a Federal Territory Account Manager from 2009 to 2011.

Prior to entering the cybersecurity industry, Benjamin worked as a Creative Executive at Elements Entertainment from 2005 to 2009.

Benjamin Tacheny obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with a focus on Accounting and International Business from Bethel University in 2005. In addition to their degree, they obtained the Shavlik Sales Certification from Shavlik in March 2010 and the VMware Certified Sales Professional (VSP5) certification from VMware in April 2012.
