Jasmine Chavous Sims

Jasmine Chavous Sims, MBA, currently serves as the Chief of Staff for the Augusta, Georgia Government since January 2023. Previously, Jasmine held the position of Associate Vice President for Workforce Solutions at the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce from July 2021 to December 2022. Jasmine's experience also includes roles within the Richmond County School System as a CTAE Facilitator from January 2016 to July 2021 and various positions over 12 years, including Parent Engagement Coordinator and Title I Program Specialist. Earlier career highlights include serving as Assistant Director of Student Affairs at Kerr Business College and Director of Development and Public Relations at the Minority Arts & Education Foundation. Jasmine began the professional journey as Marketing Coordinator for the Denver Broncos Football Club and Manager of Public Information at South Carolina State University. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from South Carolina State University, an MBA from Troy University, and an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership and Administration from Augusta University.
