Hannah Stephenson, PA-C, has been serving as a Physician Assistant at Augusta Health since March 2022, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons to deliver comprehensive care to surgical patients, encompassing preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative responsibilities. Previously, as a Physician Assistant Student at James Madison University from August 2019 to December 2021, Hannah completed clinical rotations in several specialties, including internal medicine and general surgery. Prior experience includes working as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at Charlottesville Eye Assoc LTD, where responsibilities involved patient examinations and assisting with procedures. Additionally, Hannah gained early exposure to the medical field through shadowing surgeons at Carilion Clinic, and engaged in roles such as Engineering Team Advisor and a Research & Design Engineering Intern, showcasing a diverse skill set rooted in both healthcare and engineering. Hannah holds a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from the University of Virginia.
