Peggy Caister

Peggy Caister, CFRE, currently serves as the Development Officer for Major Gifts at Augusta Health, focusing on connecting philanthropic individuals to enhance community health and well-being. With prior roles that include Director of Advancement at Wayne Theatre and Director of Development at Boys & Girls Clubs of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Peggy has extensive experience in fundraising and community engagement. Peggy's career also includes significant contributions to the Virginia Institute of Autism as Associate Director of Annual Fund Development and various leadership positions in nonprofit organizations, including Birth Matters Virginia and CASA, Advocates for Children. With a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia and currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from James Madison University, Peggy combines academic expertise with extensive hands-on experience in development and community outreach initiatives.
