Chris Martin

Chris Martin is an investment manager at Augusta Ventures. Prior to joining Augusta Ventures, Chris worked as a lawyer at Barclays, Watson Mangioni, Piper Alderman, and McLachlan Thorpe Partners. Chris has experience in managing and instructing external counsel in defending a portfolio of derivative claims, developing strategies to respond to multiple claims against the Bank, working with senior business stakeholders on all stages of litigation, and formulation creative costs solutions and fee arrangements. Chris has also attended and presented at mediations, without prejudice negotiations, stakeholder meetings and training seminars.

Chris Martin's educational career began at Macquarie University, where they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration. Chris then went on to complete a Bachelor of Law at St Ignatius College Riverview.
