Matt Gunther has over 23 years of work experience in the software and engineering industry. In 2020, they joined Augustine Consulting, Inc. as a Software Test Engineer. Prior to this, they were employed at Spirent Communications from 2007 to 2020, where they held the role of Systems Integration and Manufacturing Reliability Engineer. In this role, they evaluated integrated hardware and software applications and new features that simulated the LTE-UMTS network with GPS positioning. Matt also authored the A-GNSS Record and Playback test procedure which was utilized by the China Beijing Design Team. Additionally, they tested and verified all system level features. From 1997 to 2007, Matt was employed at Conexant Systems Inc. as a Systems Test Engineer. In this role, they conducted test and evaluation of Central Office (CO) and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) transceivers in a simulated loop network environment. Matt also co-designed, implemented and standardized the company measurement process for up and downstream broadband Power Spectral Density (PSD) via spectrum analysis in accordance with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) G992.x series.

Matt Gunther obtained an Associates degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BCSI between 1991 and 1994.
