Andrea Howell

Andrea Howell has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple organizations and roles. Andrea currently holds the position of Director of Recruitment at Augustine Literacy Project-Charlotte, where they are responsible for building teams, establishing systems and processes, and cultivating community partnerships. Prior to this, they served as the Tutor Recruitment Manager at the same organization, leading the event team and establishing key partnerships. Andrea also worked as the Local Serve Director at New City Church, where they interacted with partner organizations, mobilized volunteer leaders, and communicated the overall Serve Department strategy. Before that, they were the Outreach Coordinator at Church at Charlotte/New City Church. Andrea also has experience working as a Client Service Coordinator at TAG Consulting and as an Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinator at CASA for Children of Klamath County. Andrea's earlier roles include Program Manager at Sacramento Mediation Center and State Director-At-Large at Justice Fellowship.

Andrea Howell received a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Riverside from 1986 to 1988. Andrea later pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from California State University-Sacramento from 1999 to 2001.
