Lei Hou

Lei Hou has a strong background in operations and lean manufacturing. Starting in 2011 with GE Aerospace, Lei worked as a Production Engineer, Quality Engineering Specialist, Engine Overhaul Operations Leader, Lean Six Sigma Specialist, and Lean Six Sigma Lead. In these roles, Lei focused on improving productivity, reducing lead time, and implementing lean practices. Lei then joined Bosch as a Bosch Production System Coach, where they led lean know-how transfer projects in the production and logistics area across the Asia-Pacific region. Returning to GE Aerospace in 2017, Lei served as a Lean Transformation Leader, Senior Plant Operations Manager, and Site leader - Manufacturing Plant Management. They were responsible for driving lean transformation, leading plant operations teams, and achieving world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Lei's most recent role is Chief of Product & Ops Excellence at Auk Industries since May 2023.

Lei Hou obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Industrial Engineering from Soochow University (CN) in the years 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, Lei pursued further education and completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Lei also holds a Black Belt Certification (BB) from GE Aviation, although the specific obtained month and year are not provided.
