Oskar Svendsen has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Most recently, they have been working at Auk since 2021 in the role of Strategy & Operations. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, they served as the CEO and Co-founder of YME Technologies, a venture that developed next-generation cooling components for data centers in collaboration with CERN Knowledge Transfer.

Before their time at YME Technologies, Oskar worked as the General Manager at FRAM - Studentenes innovasjonskollektiv from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they managed the innovation collective for students at NTNU and gained experience in entrepreneurship and technological student organizations.

Oskar also had internships at Vipps in 2019, where they worked as a product manager, and at Hafslund Eco in 2018, where they focused on new solutions for grid operations. Additionally, they gained project management experience at DNB in 2017 through an internship that involved developing multiple products based on insights from previous work. Oskar also had an internship at DNB in 2016, where they worked on disruptive digital solutions in response to PSD2.

Prior to their career in the business world, Oskar was a professional athlete in road cycling. Oskar spent two years as a professional cyclist in Team Joker and the Norwegian National Team, achieving notable accomplishments such as becoming Junior World Champion in Time Trial and ranking in the top 5 at the Tour de L'Avenir. During their cycling career, Oskar also achieved the highest recorded VO2 max level.

Oskar Svendsen's education history begins in 2010 when they attended Norges toppidrettsgymnas Lillehammer. Oskar studied Allmennfag, REA during their time there and graduated in 2013. In 2014, Oskar enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) for a year-long program in Psychology, completing an Årsstudium. From 2015 to 2020, Oskar pursued a Master's degree in Ingeniørvitenskap og IKT at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU). After completing their first Master's degree, Oskar went on to pursue a second Master's degree. From 2019 to 2021, they studied at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) at the NTNU School of entrepreneurship (NSE) where they obtained a Master's degree in that field.
