José Manuel A.

José Manuel A. has over 15 years of work experience in software engineering and research. In 2004, they began their career with an internship at EFACEC. José Manuel then went on to work as a Junior Software Developer at Critical Software and a Software Engineer at Infineon in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Researcher at IGI (Institute for Graphic Interfaces). From 2007 to 2008, they worked at Samsung as a Shader Researcher and Developer and at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence as an Augmented Vision Researcher and Computer Graphics PhD candidate. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Dassault Systèmes 3DEXCITE and at Philips as a Senior Software Engineer at TOMTEC Medical Imaging from 2018 to 2020. Since 2022, they have been working as a Rendering Lead at Auki Labs.

José Manuel A. attended the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Licenciatura (Pre-Bologna) in Computer Science, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and a Computer Science degree.
