Evren Ermis

Evren Ermis is a seasoned Big Data Expert with extensive experience in managing data solutions and driving business value through data assets. Currently at AUMOVIO since September 2025, Evren has also held a similar role at Continental from January 2019 to September 2025, focusing on decentralized data architectures and serving as Product Owner for data platforms built on the data mesh concept. Prior experience includes serving as Product Owner at ETAS, where Evren led the transformation of a traditional application into a cloud-based solution, and roles as a Research and Development Engineer at EPLAN Software & Service GmbH & Co. KG, contributing to custom software solutions and GUI testing. Evren started the academic career as Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, supporting teaching, research, and project work, and holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from The University of Freiburg and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes.
