Shub Jain

Shub Jain has a diverse work history, beginning with a Software Engineering Internship at Microsoft in 2012. During this time, they wrote a PowerShell script to tear down and recreate a cluster, as well as developed a logger in C# to provide native format logging for PowerShell scripts. In 2011, Shub Jain held an internship at Gelber Group LLC, where they developed a UI using WinForms to view and update various stock data, as well as an interface for a parser to parse PDF files to extract data daily/weekly/monthly. In 2012, they also served as a CSE Tutor at UC San Diego. In 2014, they became a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where they worked on AzureStack, an on-premise hybrid cloud solution for companies with proprietary data needs. In 2016, Shub Jain became a Full Stack Engineer at Gusto!, where they worked on the Accounting Partners team and added features like journal entries, classes, tracking categories, auto reconcile, and prepayments for third party integrations like Qbo/Xero. In 2018, they became the Founder & CTO at Auquan, where they enabled financial research that is 90x faster and ensures nothing important is ever missed. In 2020, they joined the Forbes Technology Council as a Council Member.

Shub Jain obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego in 2014. Shub previously attended Mayo College, Ajmer, where they studied Science.
