Mattia Padulo currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at AURA-AERO since March 2021. Previously, Padulo held various roles at Airbus from September 2011 to March 2021, culminating as the Head of Growth and Incubation within the Digital Design, Manufacturing and Services division. Padulo's expertise includes leading digital transformation initiatives, managing innovation projects, and serving as a domain focal point for research and technology. Earlier experience includes work at NASA Glenn Research Center as a Postdoctoral Program Fellow and as a researcher at Cranfield University, where significant contributions to computational aircraft design and multidisciplinary design optimization were made. Padulo holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Cranfield University and multiple degrees in aeronautics from prestigious institutions including ISAE-SUPAERO and Politecnico di Torino.
