Jerome Oglesby serves as an Advisory Partner at AHEAD and holds multiple board member positions at ScienceLogic, Orokii, the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, and LEAD Public Schools. Oglesby is also a member of the Advisory Board for TennesseeCIO and the Advisory Council for Vation Ventures, as well as a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to these roles, Oglesby had a distinguished career at Deloitte, where responsibilities included Global Chief Technology Officer, US Chief Technology Officer, and US Director of Technology. Oglesby began their career at AT&T Mobility as Executive Director of Technology. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from The University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA in Business Administration from Lipscomb University.

The Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA) is a consortium of 47 US institutions and 3 international affiliates that operates world-class astronomical observatories for the National Science Foundation and NASA. AURA’s role is to establish, nurture, and promote public observatories and facilities that advance innovative astronomical research. In addition, AURA is deeply committed to public and educational outreach, and to diversity throughout the astronomical and scientific workforce. AURA carries out its role through its astronomical facilities.
