Michael Zuccaro

Michael Zuccaro has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Aura Biosciences since 2023. Before that, they worked as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Aura Biosciences from 2021 to 2022. Prior to joining Aura Biosciences, Zuccaro served as the Director and Head of FP&A at Yumanity Therapeutics in 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they held the role of Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Akebia Therapeutics, where they led various financial planning and analysis activities and played a key role in strategic initiatives. Before Akebia, Zuccaro worked at Anika Therapeutics as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, where they were responsible for all financial planning and analysis activities. Michael Zuccaro has completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Prior to their MBA, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
