Brian Richmond, PhD

Brian Richmond, PhD has a long and varied work experience. From 2018 to present, they have served as the Chief Data Officer, Head of Data Science, and Senior Data Scientist, Product Intelligence at Aura Health. In 2017, they were a Data Scientist, People Analytics at WeWork and Co Organizer at NY HR Analytics. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Senior Scientist at the American Museum of Natural Theirtory. From 2002 to 2014, they were an Associate Professor of Anthropology, and Anatomy and Regenerative Biology and Chairman of the Department at George Washington University, where they managed a department with over 50 employees and 200 students, led the department through a period of unusually high growth, established new policies to enhance the research environment for faculty and staff, and developed the 10-year 'Strategic Plan' with top leadership. From 1998 to 2000, they were a Research Associate at the Smithsonian Institution, Museum of Natural Theirtory, and from 2000 to 2002 they were an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Brian Richmond, PhD received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Stony Brook University in 1998, in the field of Anthropological Sciences. Brian received their Master's Degree from Stony Brook University in 1995, also in the field of Anthropological Sciences. Their Bachelor's Degree was obtained from Rice University in 1990, in the fields of Biology and Theirtory.
