Farshid Ghazanfari

Farshid Ghazanfari has extensive work experience in the field of geology and mineral resources. Farshid started their career as a Field Geologist/Mineralogist at the Geological Survey of Iran in 1991 and worked there until 1997. Farshid then worked as an Exploration Geologist at Anglo American (Minorco) from 1997 to 1998, and at Noranda Inc. from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, they worked as a Geological Consultant for a year. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Senior Exploration Geologist at Goldcorp Inc. and later worked as a Resource Geologist at Desert Sun Mining from 2005 to 2006. Farshid then joined Largo Resources Ltd as an Exploration Manager/Resource Geologist from 2006 to 2009. From 2005 to 2013, they worked as a Resource Estimation Consultant at Forbes & Manhattan Group. Farshid then worked as the Chief Geologist at Black Iron Inc. from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Mineral Resources and Geology Director at Aura Minerals Inc since September 2014.

Farshid Ghazanfari pursued higher education in the field of Geology/Earth Science. Farshid obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from the University of Tehran, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Following that, they completed a Master's degree in the same field at the University of Tehran from 1989 to 1992. Additionally, Farshid Ghazanfari obtained a GIS Certificate from MacMaster University in May 2002.
