Tiãozito Cardoso, MBA, FAusIMM has extensive work experience in the mining industry. Tiãozito has held various technical and managerial roles in prominent companies such as Aura Minerals Inc, Equinox Gold Corp., Nexa Resources, Vale, MMX, InterCement, Gemcom Software, and Maptek. Throughout their career, Tiãozito has demonstrated expertise in mine planning, geology, geomechanics, metallurgy, and operational support. Tiãozito has managed technical teams and provided support for multiple mines, both open-pit and underground, in Brazil, Mexico, Honduras, Peru, and Brazil. Tiãozito has also been involved in a variety of projects, including brownfield and greenfield initiatives, capital projects, exploration, and mergers and acquisitions. With their strong background in technical services and a focus on implementing best practices and continuous improvements, Tiãozito has been instrumental in optimizing operations, ensuring efficient mine planning, and maximizing mineral reserves.

Tiãozito Cardoso earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais between 1996 and 2002. In 2009 and 2010, they pursued further education at the IETEC - Instituto de Educação Tecnológica, where they obtained an MBA in Business and Projects Management.
