Augusto Marques is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as CTO at Aura Semiconductor since January 2014, Augusto previously held the position of CEO at Next Silicon from January 2012 to December 2013. Prior to these roles, positions included Senior Fellow for RF/Analog Design at MediaTek, VP/RF Senior Fellow at NXP Semiconductors, and multiple engineering leadership roles at Silicon Laboratories, including Fellow and Director of Engineering. Academia experience comprises Auxiliary and Assistant Professor roles at the Physics Department. Augusto holds a PhD in Microelectronics from KU Leuven, a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Universidade de Coimbra, and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra.
