Pete Hughes

Peter Hughes has a comprehensive background in IT management and consulting. Peter currently serves as the Director at Aura Technology Ltd, where they provide strategic IT consultancy and support to mid-market companies. Previously, they held various roles at Taylor Made Computer Solutions, including Head of Service Operations and Head of Product Management. In these positions, Peter led technical delivery teams, managed product portfolios, and developed key services. Prior to that, they worked as a Managed Services Manager and Senior Engineer at Taylor Made Computer Solutions. Peter also gained experience as a Technical Consultant at SNS Ltd and Assistant IT Manager at D Young & Co LLP. Peter began their career as a Special Projects Manager at Spinlock Ltd.

Peter Hughes attended Shebbear College from 1988 to 1995. Peter then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Studies, obtaining their BSc (Hons) from Southampton Solent University in 1998. Peter also holds various certifications, such as Asigra Certified Technician from Asigra in 2013, VMware VCP from VMware in 2008, CCNA from Cisco in 2007, and MCSA from Microsoft in 2007.
