Joseph Castorina has over 12 years of professional work experience. Joseph began their career in 2008 as a Support Technician for EnFlex Corporation. In 2009, they became a Senior Commissioning Engineer for SunEdison, where they led a data ops team for successful commissioning of 1.5GW of solar power installations, including Rovigo in Italy, which was the largest installation in the world at the time. In 2017, they joined TokenLobby, LLC as a Frontend Developer, where they migrated from SSR to SPA-based architecture to prepare for distributed systems at scale and implemented a caching strategy to reduce costs by up to 70%. Also in 2017, they joined Ignition Gaming, LLC as a Software Engineer, where they improved frame-rate by up to 50% by implementing WebGL instanced drawing techniques.
