Adolfo Fernández

Adolfo Fernández is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Energy & Industrial Leader for Victoria and South Australia at Aurecon since April 2008. With a focus on decarbonisation, Adolfo leads advisory efforts in technical, commercial, and regulatory domains across multiple Australian states. Prior roles at Aurecon include Technical Director of the Energy team, Power Generation Leader, and Associate responsible for establishing a Building Sciences team exceeding 30 members. Adolfo's career began as a Solar Photovoltaic Project Engineer at Zytech Group, where responsibilities included the design of large-scale grid-connected solar PV systems. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Renewable Energies from Universidad de Zaragoza, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energies from Universidad de Zaragoza.
