Jason Chin

Jason Chin is an experienced engineering professional specializing in ground and underground engineering, currently serving as the Executive Director and Technical Director for Tunnel in Greater China at Aurecon since November 2018. Previously, Jason held the position of Principal Engineer at COWI and Mott MacDonald, and worked with Black & Veatch as a Civil Engineer focused on tunnel projects. Early career roles include Tunnel Engineer at URS Corp. and Tunnel Design Engineer at Bilfinger Berger, contributing to significant projects such as the Taiwan High Speed Rail. Jason holds a Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta. Expertise encompasses trenchless technology, geotechnical investigation, numerical modeling, and extensive field experience in tunnel construction across various challenging ground conditions.
