Paul Xiao

Paul Xiao is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in civil engineering and design. Currently serving as an Engineering Designer at Aurecon since September 2021, Paul previously held positions at KBR, Inc. as a Senior Civil Engineer and at Hatch as a Senior Civil Designer. Paul has also contributed to major road projects as a Highway Design Engineer and Highway Designer during secondments at Mott MacDonald and KBR, Inc., respectively. Earlier roles include Technical Officer at AECOM and Deputy Chief Engineer (Roads) at CCCC, where Paul was involved in project presentations and defensible proposals. With a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology and a robust academic foundation in engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, Paul possesses extensive expertise across road, bridge, geotechnical, drainage, and industrial wastewater treatment design.
