Stephen Symons

Stephen Symons is an accomplished professional with extensive experience at Aurecon since January 1988, where Stephen currently serves as Managing Director - Growth Strategies and has held various leadership roles including Head of Strategic Pursuits and Government, Global Client Director for Aviation, and Region Managing Director for Central operations. With a strong focus on business development and strategic initiatives, key responsibilities have included overseeing the Grow WA initiative and managing the global relationship with Rio Tinto. In addition to engineering roles, Stephen has served as Director at Seymour College from July 2016 to December 2021. Academic credentials include a Master of Administrative Studies in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the South Australian Institute of Technology, with ongoing studies at Harvard Business School.
