Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication and Global Markets from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their academic credentials, Sophia has obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they received a certification in Venture Capital from edX. In January 2018, they obtained a certification in Branding and Customer Experience from Coursera. Furthermore, in July 2018, they completed a Communicating for Impact Certificate from IDEO U, and in May 2016, they obtained a Human Resources Essentials Certificate from eCornell.
