Dirk Markus

Dr. Dirk Markus acquired his first company in 2002 and has since been responsible for over 80 private equity transactions. Before that, he worked for McKinsey & Company, where he was a project manager dealing with process optimization, digitization and restructuring issues. Dr. Markus was born in Regensburg and grew up in Austria. As a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation, he studied business administration in St. Gallen / Switzerland and Copenhagen and did his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen. During his PhD he spent a semester as a Visiting Research Fellow at Harvard University.
