Sergey Ustimenko has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Sergey began their career as an Audit Director, Manager, and Junior Manager at BDO Rufaudit from 1995 to 1998. Sergey then worked as an Assistant Manager at KPMG from 1998 to 2000 and as a Manager at Andersen from 2000 to 2001.
In 2001, Ustimenko joined LUKOIL as the Head of Financial Analysis and Controlling Division, where they were responsible for setting up a financial analysis and controlling function and preparing the company's US GAAP consolidated financial statements. Sergey worked at LUKOIL until 2004.
From 2004 to 2005, Ustimenko served as the CFO of Европлан, where they were involved in an M&A deal. In 2005, they joined AirBridgeCargo Airlines LLC as the CFO during the company's establishment in the market.
Ustimenko then joined Genser in 2007, working as a CFO for a group of auto retailing companies with a turnover of over $1.5 billion. Sergey implemented a Shared Service Center and was involved in fundraising and debt restructuring until 2011.
From 2011 to 2013, Ustimenko worked as the CFO of Ferronordic Machines, a Volvo Construction equipment distributor in the Russian Federation.
In 2014, Ustimenko took on dual roles at Auriant Mining AB, serving as the CFO from May 2014 to December 2015, and then as the CEO from January 2016 till currently. During their tenure, they successfully modernized the mining facilities and raised significant capital through shares issue at NASDAQ First North Stockholm.

Sergey Ustimenko obtained a diploma in Technology and Automatization from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, where they studied from 1989 to 1997. In 2001, they successfully completed the CPA unified exam, earning a CPA certification in Accounting and Auditing. Furthermore, in 2011, they achieved a score of 700 on the GMAT test. Additionally, Sergey Ustimenko obtained a CPA certification in August 2001.
