Douglas Shafer

Douglas Shafer is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Regional Sales Manager at Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. since June 2020. Prior to this role, Douglas held the position of Senior Division Sales Manager at Genentech from July 2012 to June 2020, where leadership of a high-performing team resulted in successful customer solutions in Rheumatology, Nephrology, and Dermatology. Douglas consistently achieved top rankings among Division Managers, particularly for the launch of Actemra. Before Genentech, Douglas was a Division Sales Manager at Roche, leading teams to promote medications such as Boniva and Actemra, earning multiple President’s Club awards for outstanding performance.
