Xin Qu

Xin Qu has worked in the field of bioengineering for over 15 years. In 2021, they began working as the Director of BioEngineering and Delivery at Aurion Biotech. Before that, they worked as a Principle Scientist II/Investigator III, Investigator II, and Investigator I at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) from 2014 to 2021. From 2011 to 2014, Xin Qu worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar Employee at UC San Diego, and as a Visiting Student at Rice University in 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from 2006 to 2011.

Xin Qu obtained a BS in Life Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China between 2002 and 2006. Xin then went on to receive their PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 2006 and 2011. Xin also holds certificates from Coursera Course Certificates for Introduction to Computer Vision with Watson and OpenCV and Python for Data Science and AI.
