David Wright

David Wright is an experienced general manager with a strong background in various industries, currently serving as General Manager of Aurizon's Bulk East division since April 2014, overseeing extensive rail, road, terminal, and stevedoring operations across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. Prior to Aurizon, David held multiple roles at Queensland Nickel, including GM Commercial and Marketing, and served as Director of Project Development and Commercial Manager. David's earlier career included significant leadership positions as General Manager at Novotel Melbourne on Collins and Mercure Harbourside Cairns, as well as various hotel management roles within the Accor group. David holds an MBA in Business from James Cook University, completed in 2015.
