Dr Sarah Ryan has approximately 30 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry. Initially Sarah spent 20 years in various technical, operational and senior management positions, including 15 years with Schlumberger Limited both in Australia and overseas. Sarah then spent 10 years as an equity analyst covering natural resources with institutional investment firm Earnest Partners, based in the US. Sarah is currently a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed Woodside Petroleum Limited, Viva Energy Group Limited, and OZ Minerals Limited, and a Non-Executive Director of Future Battery Industry Cooperative Research Centre. Sarah is a former Non-Executive Director of Norwegian listed Akastor ASA. Sarah is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering.

The Operations segment is responsible for the national delivery of coal, iron ore, bulk and intermodal haulage services. It also includes yard operations, fleet maintenance, operations, engineering and technology, engineering program delivery and safety, health and environment.
