Jay Burnett

Jay Burnett is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the hospitality and real estate sectors. Currently serving as EVP of Investments & Development at Auro Hotels since October 2025, Jay has previously held significant roles such as Chief Investment Officer at GF Hotels & Resorts from April 2021 to September 2025 and Senior Vice President, Investments & Development at Auro Hotels from March 2013 to April 2021. Additionally, experience includes positions at GF Hotels & Resorts as Vice President of Corporate Strategies, AMC Delancey Group, Inc. as Vice President of Real Estate Asset Management, and Marriott International in several capacities, culminating as Director of Sales & Marketing Analysis. Jay also contributed to education as an Adjunct Instructor at Virginia Tech's MSBA Hospitality and Tourism Management in 2025. Academic credentials include a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
