Amy Ehlers-Norton has an extensive work experience in various roles within the hospitality and education sectors.

Amy started their career as a Restaurant Manager/Interim F&B Director at The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort in 1998. Amy then co-owned and served as General Manager of Daddy O's from 1998 to 2001.

In 2004, Amy joined Pearl River Resort as a Training Manager, where they oversaw skill-based training and ensured compliance certifications for multiple outlets within the resort.

From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Training Manager at The Landings Club, focusing on employee training, leadership programs, and recruitment efforts.

Amy joined the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System in 2013 as a District Systems Trainer, providing training for various curriculum-based programs to the district's employees.

In 2011, they became a Hospitality Consultant and Reality Coach at Q-Principle, specializing in employee-client interaction and implementing service education programs.

Most recently, Amy has been working at Auro Hotels since 2015. Amy Ehlers-Norton has a comprehensive education history and various certifications. In terms of formal education, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Pepperdine University, between 2022 and 2024. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management from American InterContinental University in 2006.

Amy also holds several certifications. Amy obtained the certifications of Certified Facilitator of Addiction Awareness-HR and Certified Facilitator Addiction Awareness-HR from the International Association of Professional Recovery Coaches in December 2022 and November 2022, respectively. Amy is also a Notary Public, having received the certification from the American Association of Notaries in February 2020.

Additionally, Amy possesses several industry-specific certifications. Amy is a TIPS Trainer certified by Health Communications, Inc. (The TIPS Program) since June 2016. Amy has a Microsoft Office Specialist certification from Microsoft, obtained in October 2014. Amy is a member of ASQ since February 2012 and holds the status of Associated Professional Member (APM) in SHRM since January 2010.

In terms of professional development, Amy achieved the certification of Certified Facilitator/Instructor "Coaching for Stellar Service" from AchieveGlobal in September 2007. Amy is also a Certified Instructor/Proctor certified by the National Restaurant Association since July 2006. As a member of the American Culinary Federation, they hold the designation of Accredited Instructor since June 2006. Moreover, they are a ServSafe Food Protection Manager - Instructor/Proctor certified by the National Restaurant Association since June 2006.

Lastly, Amy holds two certifications from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. Amy has been certified as a Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS) since January 2006 and as a Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) since January 2006.
